The Software Based Version of Arttango
This version delivers the movie lessons to the students via a computer program. It can be installed, with the movie lessons, on a computer and used just like any other software program. It has an friendly easy to use interface. The program always the user to view all or parts of the lesson as many times as they like. Order a grade with 30 movie lessons or order all 180 of the K-5 movies.

Arttango can be installed on a schools network server from the DVDs or we offer an affordable file server with the lessons pre-installed. You simply plug this server into your network, install the Arttango application on the client computers and the art lessons become available to any computer on the network. This computer based art program is simple for anyone to use, just point and click to play a movie lesson or to view lesson related artwork! The instructions are presented by art education specialist Lydia-Kay Blackburn to the students via a movie format. The teacher, paraprofessional, parent or after-school instructor plays the lesson, then distributes the materials and oversees and encourages the children as they do their work. Any portion of the movie can easily be replayed.

The Arttango interface can be projected onto a Smart Board, which utilizes touch screen technology.
The interactive touch screen technology of Smart Technologies, Inc. Smart Board makes for a perfect match with the Arttango Art Education Program. The Arttango interface is projected onto the Smart Board using an LCD projector and a computer running the art program. Level 1 of Arttango is primarily designed for elementary schools that do not have art teachers or for the school that has more students then the art teacher can adequately teach.
Because of the overwhelming responsibilities of an elementary school teacher, we felt that an art program could be neglected and left to chance. Our program eliminates that possibility by presenting to the students one lesson and project each week for the entire school year. Objectives for each lesson are correlated to other areas of the curriculum, making it easy for the classroom teacher to integrate the lessons.

This program is Mac and PC compatible.
